COSRI (Clinical Opioid Summary with Rx Integration) is an open source integrated application for accessing PDMP data. It provides decision support for prescribing opioids based on Washington State rules and CDC guidelines applied to the patient context, and decreases overhead and cost barriers associated with vendor-based EHR-integrated applications. COSRI extends and contextualizes software from the CDSConnect project, led by AHRQ and CDC. Overarching funding to improve PDMP usage comes from the CMS Support ACT through the Washington Healthcare Authority. Project in partnership with Washington State Department of Health.

We are working on creating reasonable, persistent patient data in the App Gallery, but for now, the best way to understand the function of the app (on a test patient with opioids prescribed) is to use our SMART on FHIR launcher, at https://demo.cosri.app

(some issues: Safari seems to have some issues with the "Try App" mode on Smart Health IT - it works fine on our demo site and production systems. Chrome and others seem to work fine everywhere. We'll work on that! Also, the demo site above has a much richer set of test patients than the three we've created on the Smart Health IT site. So, check out both!)
